Posting Summary
Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey is seeking an Administrative Analyst III in the the office of Ambulatory Care Services within the Rutgers, Robert Wood Johnson Medical Center.
Assists in the review, analysis and appraisal of current department administrative procedures, organization and performance and helps to prepare recommendations for changes and/or revisions; does other related work as required.
Among the key duties of this position are the following:
  • Assists in reviewing department programs and activities and in evaluating their administration, objectives, efficiency, effectiveness, and suitability to current conditions, costs, and goals, using established procedures and standards.
  • Assists in the work involved in determining whether department activities and programs are essential and are carried out economically and efficiency.
  • Appraises the adequacy and effectiveness of computer systems; assists in the development of the organizational structure and methods of operation necessary for the performance of existing, new, or expanded functions.
  • Assists in the analysis of operational problems brought to light through budget studies, requests and hearings; compiles and interprets data; appraises function of situations.
  • Assists in developing, preparing and executing budgets, plans of organization, and methods; assists in evaluating budget requests and making recommendations on these requests.
  • Assists in administrative planning, organizational studies, administrative and procedural studies, capital planning and research; and in introducing new techniques and methods to improve administration.

Qualifications


Minimum Education and Experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree plus two (2) years of responsible experience involving the review, analysis and evaluation of budgets, organizations, administrative practices, computer applications, and the recommendation of improved methods, preferably in a large business, government agency or educational institution.
  • Additional related experience may be substituted for the educational requirement on a year for year basis.

Immunization Requirements


Under Policy 60.1.35 Immunization Policy for Rutgers Employees and Prospective Employees , Rutgers University requires all prospective employees to provide proof that they are fully vaccinated and have received a booster (where eligible) against COVID-19 prior to commencement of employment, unless the University has granted the individual a medical or religious exemption. Employees who are not eligible for a booster at the time of an offer of employment must provide proof they have received a booster upon eligibility and upload proof of same. Failure to provide proof of vaccination for any required vaccines or obtain a medical or religious exemption from the University will result in rescission of a candidate’s offer of employment or disciplinary action up to and including termination.
