The Herbert Wertheim UF Scripps Institute for Biomedical Innovation & Technology at the University of Florida is recruiting a non-tenure track Research Assistant Professor.

We are looking for an experienced structural biologist to lead the program in deciphering structural bases of G Protein Coupled Receptor (GPCR) complexes by CryoEM. Research Assistant Professor will be embedded in the multidisciplinary team of investigators studying GPCR signaling at variety of angles and engaged in drug discovery efforts. This is a faculty-level appointment that offers a unique opportunity to develop independent research program while being protected from funding pressures. The position provides faculty level salary support, benefits, and a platform for professional growth including grant writing.

EXPECTEDSALARY:

Salary is negotiable with an excellent benefits package.

MINIMUMREQUIREMENTS:

Requires a Ph.D. or M.D. and at least 3 years of experience in structural biology

PREFERREDQUALIFICATIONS:

2 years of postdoctoral training and significant experience with CryoEM.
