Overview

Our group at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute is seeking a motivated and talented scientist who will contribute to discovery and translational research in the areas of noncoding RNA biology and RNA therapeutics of human cancer.

The postdoctoral fellow will be affiliated with the Department of Medical Oncology at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, Harvard Medical School.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will perform research on discovery and translational science to interface clinical development for treatment of cancer patients. We expect that RNA-based approach for human clinical investigation will emerge from these efforts through our collaborations.

The major focus of this specific position will include the development and execution of biological assays, interpretation of results, analysis of data and support of further research activities.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

• a Ph.D. MD, MD/PhD, or doctoral equivalent in biological sciences.
• a strong background in immunology, cancer biology, molecular biology, and cell biology.
• excellent oral and written communication skills.
• the ability to perform both self-directed and guided research.
• the ability to effectively work as part of an interdisciplinary team of scientists.
