Position Summary
Under general supervision of the assigned manager/supervisor, provides piano accompaniment for the college.

Temporary employees earn 1 hour of sick leave for every 30 hours they work.
Assignment Responsibilities
This position will provide piano accompaniment for Sacramento City College’s College Choir and Vocal Ensemble. This includes attending all class sessions to support and assist the instructor in group vocal training and rehearsal, attending all off-site performances as the official accompanist for College Choir and Vocal Ensemble, assisting individual students from both ensembles in individualized vocal work and rehearsal, and related duties as required.

EXPERIENCE: One year of experience in educational and professional musicpractices including piano accompaniment with orchestras or bands.
EDUCATION: Completion of an Associate’s Degree in Music or 60 semester units (90 quarter units) with 26 units in music courses.
