Required Qualifications
The position requires at least:
(1) a Master’s degree in Psychology or
(2) a Master’s degree with at least 18 graduate semester hours in Psychology,
Psychology. Counseling and educational psychology courses cannot be counted unless the course content is the same as a course normally found in a graduate psychology course.
One or two related counseling or educational psychology courses may be considered if the remaining graduate psychology program content is strong.

Job Description
This is a tenured-track faculty position. The College desires candidates with on-going professional development interests, love of teaching, and enthusiasm for campus and College committees and activities.
Preferred Qualifications

(1) community college teaching experience and
(2) the ability to work a flexible schedule that may include evenings and weekends.

Supplemental Job Information

Applicants must attach a copy of their graduate transcript, showing at least the minimum qualifications, at the time of application. In addition, applicants must attach a resume at the time of application. If selected for an interview, applicants must bring an original transcript to the interview showing the awarding of the required degree and required graduate semester hours. If the transcript has not been updated to show the awarding of the required degree, applicants must bring written documentation from the educational institution showing when the degree was awarded.

Pay Rate
A faculty member shall be assigned to the appropriate salary grade based on the College’s contract with the faculty union.
The present entry levels are:
(Grade II) Master’s degree with 18 graduate semester hours in the field $44,248,
(Grade II+) Master’s degree plus 30 graduate semester hours in the teaching field $46,514
(Grade I) an earned Doctorate in major field $48,781.
