Prepare and teach one (1) section of FINA 4931, Topics in Finance. The topic this semester is Principles of Risk and Insurance Examination of the principles of risk management and insurance. Topics include risk identification and analysis, types of insurance used by consumers and businesses, insurance operations including underwriting and pricing risks, legal aspects, and the social impact of risk management and insurance.

Prepare a well-organized syllabus and teaching plan that clearly reflects the course objectives as well as expectations, conduct well-prepared class sessions that effectively deliver the course content and engages students, administer meaningful and relevant assignments, and grade students’ work with an emphasis on student development.

Masters Degree preferred or substantial progress toward the terminal degree.

Teaching experience in the relevant area at the university level or professional training experience strongly preferred.
