Position Summary
This is a grant funded opportunity with a specific focus on exosomal crosstalk in tissue repair and regeneration working with the Indiana Center for Regenerative Medicine and Engineering.
 
The laboratory of Dr. Subhadip Ghatak in the Department of Surgery and the Indiana Center for Regenerative Medicine and Engineering at Indiana University School of Medicine is seeking a highly motivated postdoctoral fellow to work on projects studying exosomal crosstalk in tissue repair and regeneration. The laboratory focuses on understanding cell-cell crosstalk and the mechanisms in skin/wound biology and has the desire to partner with physicians in translational medicine to accelerate the transition of treatments from bench to bedside.

Basic Qualifications
• Must have a doctoral degree (PhD) in biology, biochemistry, chemistry, biotechnology or related fields
 • Specific experience with the study of nanotechnology is highly required
 • Evidence of publication history in nanocharacterization, microscopy is desired.
 • Must be willing to work with animals and human subjects
 • Must have excellent written and oral communication skills.
 • Must be able to work independently or with very limited supervision.
 • Must be able to multitask and show interest in contributing to several projects ongoing in the lab.

Additional Qualifications
Desire to learn new techniques, write manuscripts/reports/protocols, present data at meetings and conferences, and train and mentor students.
