Associate Dean of Life
Job Description
Position: Mid-Plains Community College is looking for a motivated, positive, responsible, and student/team-oriented individual to serve as the Associate Dean of Student Life in North Platte. Responsibilities for this full-time salaried position include:
- Oversee and coordinate day-to-day Student Life Operations and Student Life Team Area-wide.
- Work closely with Faculty and Student Services team to foster strong relationships between students, staff, and faculty.
- Plan Student Life and Residence Life Programming for residents and commuters
- Enhance the Student Experience and build a positive student culture.
- Create opportunities for student development and assess co-curricular learning outcomes.
- Oversee Student Conduct, Student Organizations, CARE Team, and Multicultural Leadership and Engagement.

Mid-Plains Community College, a legislatively designated 18-county service area in West-Central Nebraska, is a comprehensive, open access, public, two-year community college system that offers associate degrees, diplomas, and certificates. Minimum Qualifications:
Computer skills required. Bachelor’s degree is required. Previous experience in residence life and administrative experience is preferred.
