Job Description

Position: Mid-Plains Community College is looking for a motivated, positive, responsible, and student/team-oriented individual to serve as the Associate Dean of Student Life in North Platte. Responsibilities for this full-time salaried position include:

  • Oversee and coordinate day-to-day Student Life Operations and Student Life Team Area-wide.
  • Work closely with Faculty and Student Services team to foster strong relationships between students, staff, and faculty.
  • Plan Student Life and Residence Life Programming for residents and commuters
  • Enhance the Student Experience and build a positive student culture.
  • Create opportunities for student development and assess co-curricular learning outcomes.
  • Oversee Student Conduct, Student Organizations, CARE Team, and Multicultural Leadership and Engagement.

Mid-Plains Community College, a legislatively designated 18-county service area in West-Central Nebraska, is a comprehensive, open access, public, two-year community college system that offers associate degrees, diplomas, and certificates. MPCC consists of three main campuses, one located in McCook, Nebraska and two located in North Platte, Nebraska. Additionally, there are community campus sites in Broken Bow, Ogallala and Valentine with satellite classrooms located throughout the Area. Minimum Qualifications:

Computer skills required. Bachelor’s degree is required. Previous experience in residence life and administrative experience is preferred.
