Department of Bioengineering and Therapeutic Sciences, University of California, San Francisco

The Department of Bioengineering and Therapeutic Sciences in the Schools of Pharmacy and Medicine at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) invites applications for a full-time Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor in the Adjunct Professorial series (non-tenure track). Salary and title will be commensurate with the candidate’s experience and training.

Experience doing functional and mechanistic studies on membrane transporters is required. Additionally, successful applicants are expected to demonstrate excellence in pharmacogenomics research and associated bioinformatic analyses. PhD, MD or equivalent academic doctoral degree and at least five years of postdoctoral training is required at the time of hire.

Teaching duties will be minimal. The successful candidate is expected to develop an area of scholarly work. Research experience (including a record of publications) in the field of membrane transporters and pharmacogenomics is required.
