Responsibilities
- Directs, supervises, evaluates staff and addresses customer concerns, regulatory and budgetary compliance.
- Enforces policies, procedures and standards of operation working directly with Environmental Health and Safety and others.
- Maintains metric report to track relevant data.
- Position is responsible for approving timekeeping, supply orders and department strategic planning.
- Develop consistent inventory turn/cycle count analysis/process (ABC Analysis), obsolete stock analysis/process and inventory value analysis/process to support lean concepts including root cause/corrective actions and reconciliation - accuracy goal >98%.
- Leading process improvement initiatives throughout inventory and receiving.
- Daily housekeeping of the warehouse and stockrooms to maintain a neat, orderly and clean environment to ensure the integrity of the material and a safe workplace is maintained.
- Track personnel performance and hold periodic reviews with reports to check progress against company objectives and personal goals.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

- Knowledge of applicable policy, regulatory and accreditation standards.
- Minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience in Warehousing Operations and Logistics is required.
- High school diploma required. Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics or Management preferred.
- Must be certified in shipping and handling of hazardous materials.
- Certified Professional Inventory Manager (CPIM) preferred.
- Strong personal computing skills, knowledge and ability to use Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
- PeopleSoft ERP system experience highly desirable.
- Excellent organizational, customer service, analytical and problem solving skills.
- Experience in healthcare or life sciences environment preferred.
- Ability to work independently.
- Required to demonstrate relevant knowledge, skills, and experience against the following selection criteria:
- Knowledge of area of specialty;
- Effective leadership, communication and interpersonal skills;
- Demonstrated ability and proven skills in: setting work priorities and working to deadlines, decision making, management of human and material resources;
- Current knowledge of legislative obligations and how these impact on employment and service delivery.
