The CEIPEI is accredited by the Society for Simulation in Healthcare (SSH) . The Wound Ostomy Continence Nursing Education Program (WOCNEP), a certificate within the School of Nursing’s graduate program, is currently the only accredited graduate level WOC program in the United States. Offered in both online and on-campus formats, the WOCNEP recruits students from across the nation. Our MSN in School Health is the first School Nurse Certificate Program based upon the National Association of School Nurses’ (NASN) Framework for the 21st Century School Nursing Practice™. |
Posting Summary | The Rutgers School of Nursing-Camden is seeking a Nursing Instructional Lab Specialist. The incumbent will have at least 5 years of clinical experience, and a Master’s in Nursing degree. Must have firsthand experience of the industry and current certification as a Certified Healthcare Simulation Educator (CHSE). The selected candidate will be familiar with both PC and Mac operating systems as well as Microsoft Office. The incumbent should be a visionary and able to coordinate internal affairs with academic partners and interdepartmental continuing education projects, as well as understand research and development related to simulation activities and disseminates the information. A familiarity with the performance improvement process and taking a systems approach to improve patient safety and student success will be required. Emphasis will be placed upon the Institute of Medicine’s (IOM) conclusion that the major cause of adverse events is poorly designed systems, not negligent individual performance |

Therefore, there is no guarantee that this flexible work arrangement will continue beyond that date. Immunization Requirements
Under Policy 60.1.35 Immunization Policy for Rutgers Employees and Prospective Employees , Rutgers University requires all prospective employees to provide proof that they are fully vaccinated and have received a booster (where eligible) against COVID-19 prior to commencement of employment, unless the University has granted the individual a medical or religious exemption. Employees who are not eligible for a booster at the time of an offer of employment must provide proof they have received a booster upon eligibility and upload proof of same. Under Policy 100.3.1 Immunization Policy for Covered Individuals , if employment will commence during Flu Season, Rutgers University may require certain prospective employees to provide proof that they are vaccinated against Seasonal Influenza for the current Flu Season, unless the University has granted the individual a medical or religious exemption. Additional infection control and safety policies may apply. Prospective employees should speak with their hiring manager to determine which policies apply to the role or position for which they are applying.
