The successful candidate will be able to teach introductory courses in environmental studies and sustainability as well as develop classes in geoscience, ecology, water resource management, conservation, or environmental health. The teaching load is twelve credits, typically three 4-credit courses, per academic semester. Additional responsibilities include participating in departmental activities and campus-wide committees, maintaining an active record of scholarship, and professional development. As part of their regular teaching responsibilities at this public liberal arts college, faculty members will teach both disciplinary courses and courses in our general education curriculum which is called the ‘Integrative Studies Program.’ For more information about this program, please see: http://www.keene.edu/isp/.
