The Cousins Lab has a postdoctoral research position available in the Food Science and Human Nutrition Department at the University of Florida. Research is focused on the molecular/cell biology of zinc transport and cell signaling with relevance to immune defenses and inflammatory and degenerative disease (www.robertjcousins.com ). Studies make extensive use of murine knockout models. The position provides the opportunity for team and independent research. The lab is NIH- and endowment- funded. |
Expected Salary: | $55,000 |
Minimum Requirements: | A doctorate (foreign equivalent acceptable) is required. Applicants need to have experience with molecular and biochemical assays. Candidates must be supportive of the mission of the Land-Grant system. Candidates must also have a commitment to IFAS core values of excellence, diversity, global involvement, and accountability. |
