Summary

The Department of Pediatrics, Division of Pediatric Cardiology at Michigan Medicine and C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital is seeking a board eligible/certified physician in Pediatrics/Pediatric Cardiology to join the Michigan Congenital Heart Center. We are recruiting a full-time Clinical Instructor of Pediatric Cardiology for 4th year advanced training. Clinical specialization may vary, including, but not limited to:  heart failure/transplant, non-invasive imaging, electrophysiology, interventional cardiac catheterization and/or pediatric cardiac intensive care.

The University of Michigan Congenital Heart Center is a high-acuity, high volume program that includes more than 50 cardiologists, 5 congenital heart surgeons, 18 categorical fellows and an active Advanced Practitioner team. We serve patients at 14 outpatient clinic locations across the state of Michigan and Northern Ohio. Our culture is one of collaboration and collegiality, in which teamwork is prioritized.

 

Required Qualifications*

The ideal candidate should have an M.D. degree, postgraduate clinical training, be Board eligible/board certified in Pediatrics/Pediatrics Cardiology and experience in the area of Pediatric Cardiology. Successful candidate will hold or have the ability to obtain the appropriate medical licenses in the State of Michigan. The candidate must have the excellent clinical skills and knowledge base needed to work independently.
