Aviation Instructor
Job Description
State Technical College of Missouri is accepting applications for an Aviation instructor to start in January 2023 (Spring Semester) within the Aviation Program. This is a full-time, 9- month annual contract, exempt and benefit-eligible instructor position.
Required Qualifications: FAA airframe and powerplant aircraft mechanic certificates. Five years A&P work experience, including various operations such as Part 91, 135, and/or 145. Excellent communication, computer, and interpersonal skills. Bachelor’s degree or willingness to earn one.
Preferred Qualifications: Associate of Applied Science Degree and Training/teaching experience.
Job Responsibilities: This position would teach various aviation maintenance operations. Additional duties include student recruitment, advisement and college service.
