Depending on the available position, the applicant will teach low-level adult basic education up to adult high school subjects and/or English Language Acquisition.

Essential Duties Summary
Instructor’s duties include:
1. Plan, create and maintain a classroom environment conducive to student learning.
2. Encourage the development of critical thinking skills through appropriate classroom exercises and assignments.
3. Communicate with students, supervisor, and WCC faculty/staff through the technological framework, such as email, provided by WCC.
5. Fulfill other responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor.

> Minimum – Bachelor’s degree.
> Must be willing to obtain NC CORE credentials or have NRS approved credentials.

Guidance and reinforcement are infrequently available. The employee frequently works within time constraints and maintains attentiveness intensity. Salary Grade
Salary
Commensurate with education and experience in accordance with the college salary plan. All WCC positions are subject to budget approval.
