Job Description

The Director, Digital Marketing will serve as the first point of contact to develop and implement innovative digital strategies that advance the strategic priorities and objectives of Pitt Business. This role will develop and expand the Pitt Business digital presence through paid social media, sponsored content, web, and other online sources and utilize metrics to support planning. Additionally, this role is responsible for the development, management and maintenance of the Pitt Business website. This position will oversee the functionality of the website, design, evaluate, and manage website performance, and develop, update, and maintain website content. The successful candidate must possess excellent strategic planning and communication skills, advise senior administrators, collaborate with strategic partners, be well-versed on the ongoing changes in digital marketing, and be visually creativity with good analytical and problem-solving skills. Experience within higher education is preferred.

 
A Master’s degree with a minimum of 6 years of experience is required. Relevant education and experience may be substituted for education requirement. Advanced WordPress and fluency with markup and programming languages including HTML, XML, Java, and CSS are required along with solid knowledge of ad serving, marketing, and website analytics tools.
