Job Description

Job Description

Position Summary

The Laboratory of Hema Adhikari, Ph.D., is seeking a postdoctoral researcher to work on new technology development as well as mechanistic investigation of oncoprotein signaling pathways with the goal of identifying actionable vulnerabilities for therapeutic development in difficult to target human cancers. Our laboratory is at the forefront of functional onco-proteomics research and employs cutting-edge technologies to understand the plasticity of oncoprotein signaling in tumorigenesis and drug resistance. We utilize a multifaceted approach employing cell and organoid cultures, mouse genetics, genome-wide CRISPR/Cas9 screening, and next generation sequencing and proteomic technologies to understand the reprogramming of oncogenic signaling throughout the process of cancer progression.

The postdoctoral researcher will have the opportunity to work with collaborators, the facilities available, to develop an independent project. In addition to high-quality research facilities, career and professional development training for postdoctoral researchers is provided through the Career Center, Teaching Center, Office of Postdoctoral Affairs, and campus groups.
