Job Summary:

The Hsieh Laboratory at University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus (CU-AMC ) is looking for a full-time postdoctoral fellow in the field of Inborn Errors of Immunity (IEI) for an NIH-funded project focused on understanding COVID vaccine-elicited immune response in B cell immunodeficiency.

We are a laboratory that studies 1) “classic autoimmunity” (i.e., lupus ) and 2) inborn errors of immunity (IEI) that present with autoimmunity/inflammation. Using primary human samples, in vitro cell lines, and CRISPR/Cas engineered mouse models of human disease, we identify and study novel IEI to dissect the molecular and cellular mechanisms that govern self-tolerance and anti-microbial immunity and provide critical insights for effective therapies in immunodeficiency, malignancy, and autoimmunity/inflammation.

Responsible for all aspects of planning, developing, operating, recording, and reporting of assigned research projects. The fellow will regularly work with the principal investigator to make progress on these objectives.

  • Collaborate with and teach other researchers to accomplish major research goals
  • Maintains a neat and orderly laboratory workspace, including data collection and organization, maintaining laboratory equipment, and generally being a good lab citizen.
