Primary point of contact for managers and employees to understand HR services delivery model and obtain services.
Employee and Labor Relations
- Work with leaders and employees to create/sustain a successful work environment.
- Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues
- Manages labor relations initiatives
- Conduct effective, thorough, and objective investigations, often in conjunction with HR Senior Leadership and Legal Counsel
- Manage in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks, and ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Ensures that policies and procedures are followed as needed to resolve certain concerns
Performance Management
- Oversees and manages all activities related to the performance management cycle, sensitization and monitoring of the process to ensure its effectiveness and relevance to the business needs
- Develop and communicate the strategic vision, scope, priorities, processes, systems, and tools of the performance management unit
- Work with Human Resources Information System to ensure the development, enhancement or acquisition of the Information Technology tools needed to support the performance management activities
- Supports annual HR cycle deliveries to include merit and bonus awards, benefits enrollment, etc.
Additional Duties:
- Identifies organizational development opportunities and facilitates identification/creation of employee training organization programs – Workforce Planning and Succession Planning
- Answers employees as needed or connects them with resources within HR that have the expertise to address the needs/concerns
- Evaluates issues, patterns, and trends to provide insights for HR solution and programs designs i.e., training to address certain needs
- Champion strategic HR initiatives and programmatic changes and support the engagement with employees and supervisors related to these activities.
