Assistant Professor of Chemistry (General and Organic)

Job Description


Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
This position requires advanced knowledge or organic chemistry, exceptional communication skills to effective teach and mentor students, and the ability to perform research at a high level.
Typical Experience:
Experience in organic chemistry and NMR spectroscopy through teaching, research, and/or postdoctoral work.
Required Education or Training:

This position requires a PhD (or equivalent) in Organic Chemistry, research experience in areas related to organic and/or environmental chemistry and/or Biochemistry. Postdoctoral experience is preferred.


Salary Information:

This is a 9-month, full-time faculty appointment with a competitive salary and full employee benefits package . Salary is based on UNAC Grade 30, and is dependent upon education and experience.
