Position Details
General Statement | The Lu lab at MSU is seeking a highly motivated postdoctoral research associate or plant molecular biology professional to join a collaborative project to improve sustainable production of the oilseed crop Camelina sativa. The team (https://www.montana.edu/econproject/ ) uses genomics-driven approaches to understand genetic and physiological mechanisms of nitrogen use efficiency, seed development, fatty acid and oil biosynthesis in camelina. The individual filling this position will carry out research in one of the two research areas. First, we are characterizing gene networks and signaling pathways that influence seed size. The second project concerns metabolic engineering of seed oil and fatty acid composition. |
