Position Summary
Postdoctoral (Research Associate) position to work on mechanisms of signaling and gene regulation in bacteria in the laboratory of Lee Kroos in the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at Michigan State University.
Detailed description of work/duties: A highly motivated individual is sought to conduct biochemical, genetic, and microscopic experiments on mechanisms of signaling and gene regulation in Bacillus subtilis and Myxococcus xanthus.

Required Degree
Doctorate
Minimum Requirements
Candidates should have a PhD in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Chemistry, Cellular Biology, Genetics, or related field, and at least two first-author publications.
Desired Qualifications
Experience working on mechanisms of signaling and gene regulation is desirable.
