Are you interested in collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team to improve detailed missile modeling capabilities?

 

If you are pursuing a degree in Physics, Computer Science, Math, or Engineering and want to work on challenging technical problems that help ensure some of our nation’s premier strike weapons can survive against enemy threat systems, we’d love to have you join our team!

 

As a Missile Modeler/Analyst intern in the Tactical Weapons System Engineering group, you would have the opportunity to develop your skills in software design, physics-based modeling and simulation development, data analytics, and performance analysis.


Qualifications

You meet our minimum qualifications for the job if you...

  • Are working toward a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD degree in Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, Math, or a related technical field.
  • Have experience with one or both of the following: C or C++; MATLAB or Python
  • Have experience or interest in any of the following topics:
    • Applied mathematics
    • Physics-based modeling and simulations development
    • Data analytics and signal processing
    • Software engineering using object-oriented programming
  • Have experience or interest in analyzing system performance and developing an understanding of the factors that drive that performance.
  • Have the ability to solve complex problems using definable and documentable processes.
  • Have a minimum 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale. Note: When prompted to upload attachments, please include a copy of your college transcripts (unofficial transcripts are acceptable).
  • Can demonstrate that you are fully vaccinated against COVID-19.   • Are able to obtain an Interim Secret level security clearance. If selected, you will be subject to a government security clearance investigation and must meet the requirements for access to classified information. Eligibility requirements include U.S. citizenship.
