Assist with clerical office tasks within the Instructional Support Services division.
Required Qualifications
Must be a currently enrolled student and registered for classes
Must meet all Work Study eligibility requirements through the Financial Aid Office
Basic computer skills including data entry experience
Knowledge of general office equipment including copier, fax machine, and multi-line telephone
Excellent communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills
Strong organizational skills
Problem resolution skills

Essential Functions
Provide clerical support to the departments within Instructional Support Services;
Office and clerical tasks;
Data entry;
Make copies;
Answer telephones;
Other duties as assigned.

Physical Demands
Frequently moves equipment or paperwork weighing up to 25 pounds
Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time
Work is mostly performed indoors; some outdoor Midland College or community events may be required
The person in this position needs to occasionally move/travel from the office to other locations on or off-campus
The person in this position frequently communicates with others; must be able to exchange accurate information
