Summary

University of Michigan-Dearborn is searching for a Digital Asset Coordinator, Temp, to help migrate assets to a new digital asset management tool. This position will report to the Director, Marketing and Digital strategy and collaborate with key members on our Marketing team. Employment duration will depend on the migration project length, which is projected to be 1-3 months. An extension is possible if the project lasts longer.

Responsibilities*

  • Downloading photos from our existing digital asset manager and other university areas (shared drives, Google drives, etc.)
  • Reviewing assets and recommending what should and shouldn’t migrate
  • Organizing existing assets into user-friendly categories
  • Rename all assets into required format
  • Review and recommend tagging structure enhancements
  • Develop metadata for each asset
  • Finalize requirements to migrate
  • Other related duties as assigned

Required Qualifications*

  • Must be able to work between 30 and 40 hours per week through the duration of the project
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Project management experience
  • Ability to follow prescribed direction on university requirements
  • Ability to complete tasks in a timely and efficient manner
  • Ability to collaborate and work well with a team
