Job Title

Associate Program Director- Remick Leadership Program

Job Description

The Associate Program Director strengthens the Mary Ann Remick Leadership Program (RLP) recruitment initiatives, retreat planning, and program operations.
Supervision: Reports to the Associate Director of the Mary Ann Remick Leadership Program.
Job responsibilities include:
1. Assist the Associate Director in recruitment, application, selection and enrollment processes. (40% of time)
a. Collaborate with the Associate Director to create and implement strategies to ensure a high-quality applicant pool of at least 80 completed applications annually.
b. Support candidate interview and selection processes.
c. Manage data collection processes to ensure incoming cohort information is integrated into program information management systems.
d. Represent the program at strategic recruiting events throughout the summer and school year as needed.
e. Plan on and off-campus recruitment events for the Remick team.
f. Support Slate integration and daily operations related to prospect and applicant communication.
g. Media and technology support:
i. Develop and maintain content for a compelling web presence and social media strategy.
ii. Create and update online applications and associated print materials to attract high-capacity candidates.

2. Support the daily operations of the Remick Leadership Program (35% of time) Communications:
a. Working closely with Associate Director and IEI Communications team, oversee programmatic communications to ensure strong branding of the program initiatives and mission to both internal and external stakeholders.
b. Cultivate, compose, and edit the bi-weekly program newsletter for program communications with current participants and other stakeholders.
c. Manage other programmatic communications with the individual cohorts and program stakeholders.
d. Regularly update the website and facilitate the distribution of other external communication initiatives.
Data Collection & Analysis.
a. Collect, analyze, and distribute participant feedback and program data to support internal program evaluation and continued growth and development of both large- and small-scale program innovations.
Programming:
a. Support the planning and execution of all programmatic initiatives, including, Summer Session, Commencement, Immersion Trips, etc.

3. Coordinate RLP retreats and liturgies. (20% of time)
a. Collaborate with the Associate Director and ACE Director of Pastoral Life to schedule, develop, and coordinate liturgical events for RLP.
b. Facilitate the planning, development, and execution of summer Masses, retreats, and other prayer services, serving as the liaison between Remick Leaders, the program teams, and internal University units (Sacristy supply, housing, Moreau Seminary, Sacred Heart Parish Center, etc.).
c. Retreat Coordination: staff the retreat planning committee and support logistical planning for mid-year and summer retreats to provide a deeply spiritual and reflective experience for program participants.
i. Support committee meetings with program team members;
ii. Coordinate event details and logistics, including scheduling, travel, meals, and other operational aspects of the retreat experience;
iii. Create materials and oversee implementation of retreat experiences.

4. ACE Leadership Conference. (5% of time)
a. Support the planning and execution of the annual ACE Leadership Conference

5. Other duties as assigned: The Associate Program Director undertakes other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Director and/or by the Associate Director.





Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 1-2 years Experience
  • Strong interpersonal skills to include flexibility, creativity, openness to new ideas, serving as a member of a team
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point
  • Ability to take initiative and complete tasks in a timely manner
