An accelerated path from Internship to full time Associates Program for diverse candidates

Our Diversity Internship is an intensive 10 week summer experience uniquely designed for both sophomore and junior level college students who self-identify as members of traditionally underrepresented groups within financial services and technology.
At the end of the summer, successful students are offered the option to stay on as part-time co-ops throughout their school year. Students who have participated in either (or both) of the Spark internship or co-op programs, are eligible to receive early acceptance into SEI’s full time Associates Leadership Development Program.

We offer end-to-end platforms for wealth and investment management, delivered as flexible outsourced infrastructure solutions that include processing, fund administration, information analytics, and cybersecurity services.
The Spark program offers two tracks for summer interns, one in Business Operations and the other in Technology. During the interview process, we will uncover which roles in the organization are best suited to your particular skillsets and interests

During the highly selective Spark internship you will:
Be paired with a mentor from our Affinity Network which includes groups such as the Women’s Network, Black Professionals, Military Salutes and Diversity team.
Receive a strengths based coaching session around your academic and career goals with one of SEI’s certified coaches.
Meet with members of our executive leadership team.
Attend professional development seminars on topics such as personal brand, building relationships, developing a business perspective and effective interviewing.
Participate in a summer long strategic case study.
Be eligible to receive an early offer for the fulltime Associates Program (or Ignite Internship for sophomore candidates).
To be eligible for the Spark Internship, students must self-identify as a member of traditionally underrepresented groups within the financial services and technology industries. This includes racial and ethnic minority groups (American Indian or Alaska Native, Asian, Black or African American, Hispanic or Latino, Native Hawaiian or Other Pacific Islander, or two or more races), Neuro-diverse individuals, Protected Veterans, Women and/or individuals with a disability.
Passion for financial services and/or technology
Pursuing a bachelor’s degree and graduate between December 2023 and June 2024
We are open to all majors, but primarily focus on technology and business related concentrations such as (but not limited to):
Tech : computer science, information technology, MIS, information cyber security, cloud and related
Business : finance, operations, accounting, economics, business, marketing, math and related
University/college or community involvement such as with on campus clubs and affinity groups, sports and athletics, charitable and philanthropic organizations, travel abroad experience, etc.
Prior work experience in either industry related, trade, service, retail or other fields a plus but not required
Eligibility to work in the United States

Physical Demands and Work Environment :
While performing the duties of this job, the work environment may require an individual to move around the office and from building to building which may expose the individual to weather conditions outside. The individual has to be able to sit or be stationary at a computer and use computers for extended periods of time and occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds. The noise level in the environment is moderate and the individual must be able to communicate and exchange information with people in person and over the telephone and email.
