POSITION: The representation of victims of Domestic violence in Suffolk County in Family Court, Supreme Court and administrative hearings. Issues may include orders of protection, custody, visitation, child and spousal support, divorce and lease termination pursuant to relevant domestic violence related to statute. A general knowledge of public benefits law preferred. Participation in community legal education is also expected.

REQUIRMENTS: : Nassau Suffolk Law Services is a nonprofit organization providing free legal services to low-income households. Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is a plus. Applicants are expected to bring a commitment to the representation of low-income papulation Admission to the new York State Bar, or having passed New York State Bar examination is preferred.

Pay: $62,000.00 - $86,000.00 per year
