Business Intern, Real World Evidence (RWE)

We are looking for a motivated and curious recent college graduate to take on this Analyst opportunity within the Research Department. This position will sit within the Real World Evidence (RWE) Research Team, where you will be central to the teams responsible for executing primary and custom healthcare studies and delivering highly impactful evidence studies to RWE clients within the healthcare field. The ideal candidate will have an academic background in public health, psychology, life science or internship experience in the pharmaceutical industry. This is a great position for someone who is looking for a growth opportunity and wants to build their career within the healthcare research space. The role reports to a Business Leader within the RWE Research Team.

 

Who You Are:

  • You have a BA/BS degree in Behavioral Sciences, Life Sciences, Health Studies/Public Health, Business Administration, or a related field with strong interest in primary qualitative and quantitative research design, delivery, and analysis.
  • You are a team player who can work closely with others as well as independently.
  • You possess strong attention to detail, with multi-tasking and organizational abilities.
  • You possess problem solving and decision-making skills.
  • You demonstrate excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communications skills.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills are a must, specifically MS Word, Excel and Power Point

Interns are hired as Oracle Temporary employees whose full or part-time assignments generally range from a two-week minimum to six months, with a one-year maximum. As a Business Intern, Real World Evidence you will:

  • Execute research : Participate in internal team and external client meetings, ensure project schedule deadlines are being met and monitors operational processes; qualitative and quantitative recruitment, fielding and survey programming.
  • Quality assure projects : Oversee project quality by continuous monitoring of internal and external teams to resolve issues with research instrument edit and updates.
  • Design surveys: Support creation and accuracy of online survey programming for content, skip logic, spelling, etc.
  • Project Manage: Outsource vendors and the work they produce related to programming of questionnaires, while managing project budgets.
  • Assist with Ad Hoc Projects and Trainings : Participate in adverse events training, submit reports as needed and document all necessary information requirements set forth by ISO and our SOP guidelines.
