About Trevor
The Trevor Project is the world’s largest suicide prevention and crisis intervention organization for LGBTQ young people. We are a non-profit that provides 24/7 life-saving support via phone, text, and chat. We also operate the world’s largest safe space social networking site for LGBTQ youth and run innovative research, education, and advocacy programs. We’ve been saving lives every day for over 20 years.

Overview of the role
The first-ever Corporate Partnerships Project Manager role drives corporate revenue through a focus on high-impact projects, including the Trevor Pride Campaign, and other campaigns that enable long-term sustainability of Trevor’s corporate partnerships. This position will also innovate creative new ways to fundraise, contribute to the development of new pitch and partnership materials, and interface with fundraising partners and individuals to further the mission of saving young LGBTQ lives.

Who you are

  • Entrepreneurial. You have lots of ideas and the know-how to turn them into reality. You’re a self-starter and see problems as opportunities to try another idea. You make your best effort in tackling challenges, are solutions-oriented, and working collaboratively with team members and stakeholders. You know when to ask for help and don't shy away from it.
  • Flexible. You are comfortable navigating ambiguity and are able to take initiative in all situations. You have the ability to organize and complete multiple tasks simultaneously with close attention to detail and prioritization to meet deadlines.
  • Collaborator & relationship builder. You understand that outstanding teamwork is the best way to meet and exceed goals. You’re a natural collaborator, curious, and believe that for you to win, the team has to win. Particularly, you love supporting a team of external fundraisers to help them do their best work.
  • Detail-oriented. You pay attention to details and strive for excellence in everything you write and create, and can keep many trains running.
  • Passionate. You care about LGBTQ youth. You care about saving lives. You want to come to work and feel inspired every day.
  • Innovative. You’re someone who thinks strategically. You love to brainstorm and come up with big bold ideas. You look at the way things are and then imagine 20 ways they can be improved.
  • Fun. The work we do is very serious, but that doesn’t mean we don’t have fun. We know how to have a good time and you should too.

What you’ll do

  • Manage our Fundraising Campaigns
  • Work with frontline fundraisers and cross functionally with Marketing, Content, and Communications teams to plan, execute, and debrief Trevor’s Annual Pride and End of Year fundraising campaigns - as well as additional campaign moments we may add.
  • Lead Trevor’s Corporate Partner Communications
  • Manage Trevor’s exclusive network of our 10-15 largest and most strategic corporate partners, including defining goals for the network and facilitating the annual renewal process.
  • Plan and facilitate quarterly meetings designed to build alliances between like-minded companies; provide insights and connections to Trevor’s mission, programs, leadership, and impact; and share opportunities to support Trevor’s key initiatives. Coordinate with Corporate Partnerships Managers and staff across Trevor to ensure meetings are informative, engaging, and drive outcomes.
  • Coordinate with Trevor’s Education team to provide an annual training available to all staff within Corporate Member Network companies.
  • Develop Trevor’s Pitch & Partnership Materials
  • Develop/update boilerplate pitch decks and Pride decks annually, working closely with our Content team.
  • Develop/update partnership case studies, working closely with frontline fundraisers, companies, and our Communications team to tell compelling stories of shared impact.
  • Coordinate boilerplate language for proposals in collaboration with our Grant Writer.
  • Lead or support on specific projects as assigned by the Director of Corporate Partnerships including but not limited to:
  • Creating Salesforce pipelines, reports, and dashboards for Corporate Partnerships fundraisers to track and forecast their portfolios’ giving.
  • Updating and/or revamping our Standard Operating Procedures to ensure accuracy, consistency, and usability.
  • Collaborating to reassess Trevor’s Employee Engagement strategy to enhance offerings that advance organizational and partner goals.
  • Other tasks, duties, or special projects as assigned

Benefits

  • Generous vacation and holidays (like a full day off to celebrate Harvey Milk Day!), including three half-day Fridays during the summer
  • Comprehensive health insurance, including coverage for various gender affirmation surgeries (and we pay 100% of your premiums for medical, dental, and life)
  • Flexibility to work from the continental US, Alaska, or Hawaii (we provide the technology, a monthly internet reimbursement, and a reimbursement to outfit your work-from-home space!)
  • Fun virtual office environment and passionate team
  • Online Subscription to Headspace, a digital meditation platform
  • Meaningful work at an organization that is saving the lives of LGBTQ young people globally every day
