Pacific Autism Center for Education (PACE) is a nonprofit agency located in Santa Clara, CA which provides high quality programs for individuals with Autism and associated developmental disabilities living in the south Bay Area. Come be a part of our team and make a difference

PACE is searching for a creative, outgoing, and self-motivated individual to be a part of our residential program and management team. The Residential Administrator is responsible for direct management and supervision of the staff and quality care of the clients of the facility. The Residential Administrator must learn and comply with the regulations of SARC, CCL and PACE in addition to the functions listed below.

The essential functions and duties of the Residential Administrator are as follows:

  1. Compliance with Agency program plan, policies and procedures.
  2. Ensure that all consumer health and welfare needs are monitored and met, including medications, IPP, ISP and Behavior Plan objectives.
  3. Responsible for the supervision of the facilities, employees, and consumers.
  4. Must be willing to actively work with residents and staff - this is not a purely administrative role.
  5. Able to obtain compliance with Title 22 and Title 17.
  6. Certification Approval – Able to complete CCL training with passing administrator certification and SARC RSO with follow up interview/approval. Must be capable of obtaining independent approval by both agencies.
 

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. We require a minimum of one (1) year experience working with the developmentally disabled population
  2. We require a minimum of one (1) year of management experience in a residential facility or similar industry.
  3. Must Have Bachelor's Degree or in progress toward completion
  4. Strong spoken and written English communication skills
  5. Must be self motivated and highly ethical
  6. First Aid and CPR Certified
  7. Fingerprint clearances, physical and TB test will be obtained after job offer has been accepted.
  8. Clean DMV record: must Posses a valid CA drivers license with a good driving record.

Physical Requirements

  1. Able to physically support the consumers’ behavioral issues and care.
  2. Able to transport the consumers to emergency appointments.  
  3. Capable of engaging in appropriate physical restraints.
  4. Able to lift and or push at least 45 lbs. with team support
  5. Able to physically bend, squat, reach over shoulders, reach over head, reach outward, kneel, sit, walk on normal, slippery, or uneven surfaces and stand.
  6. Must be comfortable in driving passenger size automatic transmission vans and be approved as a driver.
  7. Able to perform office work.
