Central Care Cancer Center is hiring a Financial Counselor to join their team in Garden City, KS.

The Financial Counselor will work closely with the clinical staff and billing department. Candidates must have excellent communication, organization and follow-up skills with the ability to handle multiple assignments simultaneously. Candidates should demonstrate good judgement as well as attention to detail while working well with a team.

Essential Functions

• ?Verify patient insurance benefits
• Track patient referrals
• Submit insurance authorizations
• Meet with patients and set up financial agreements

Other Qualifications

• ?Microsoft Word and Excel experience required.
• Spanish speaking a plus.
• Must be qualified to participate in Federal Health Programs, including Medicare/Medicaid.
• Must be willing to travel for initial training.
