The Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry of USC seeks applicants for a part-time, clinical track position at the rank of Clinical Assistant Professor of Dentistry in Department of Pediatric Dentistry and Orthodontics. Responsibilities will include part-time teaching at the pre- and postdoctoral level in the USC Pediatric Dentistry Clinic, as well as serving as the co-course director for the Sophomore Preclinical Pediatric Dentistry Module.

Candidates must have a DDS or DMD degree and a certificate in pediatric dentistry from an ADA approved program and be a Board Certified or a Board Candidate in Pediatric Dentistry. Candidate must also carry current certification in Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Basic Life Support (BLS) and an active California dental license. Interested applicants must submit a cover letter, complete curriculum vitae, and arrange to have at least three letters of references sent to the division.

The hourly rate range for this position is $48.08 - $50.00. When extending an offer of employment, the University of Southern California considers factors such as (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate’s work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, federal, state, and local laws, contractual stipulations, grant funding, as well as external market and organizational considerations.
