Job Summary | The Gas Surface Interactions Lab at the University of Kentucky conducts research in computational fluid dynamics and material response applied to space vehicles. This position is the engineering staff lead, who will have the following duties: - Develop, verify and validate numerical simulation tools applied to computational aero-thermodynamics. - Maintain the research codes to insure appropriate version control. Distribute the code to partnering research institute. - Supervise graduate students and collaborate with postdoctoral scholars in the lab to advance their research. - Collaborate with lab members and outside partners to write and publish reports and academic papers on the performed research. - Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
