Job Summary | Gonzaga University’s School of Leadership Studies , Doctoral Program in Leadership Studies (DPLS) invites application for Scholars of Indigenous Knowledge, Global Leadership, Critical Race Theory, Feminist Theory, Anti-racism and/or Decolonization. The school seeks to fill a 100% FTE, 9-month, fixed-term, two- year faculty position for one Underrepresented Minority Postdoctoral Fellow, beginning fall 2023 semester. Over the course of the post-doctoral position, this individual will have the opportunity to teach doctoral, graduate, and undergraduate level courses in both in-person, online and hybrid formats, as well as advise students, maintain an active scholarly agenda, and participate in academic citizenship. We are specifically looking for direct expertise, cultural competence and familiarity, and insider knowledge, scholarly publications, conference presentations, training, etc. regarding diversity, equity, and inclusion. The successful candidate will have a Ph.D., or Ed.D. in any field of arts and science and have an emphasis in ethical, social, and cultural considerations of Indigenous knowledge, decolonization theories, Indigenous Research methods/methodology and practices, Global Leadership, Cross-Cultural Research methods, Feminist Theory and/or Critical Race Theory. The program values creative, collaborative, and publicly engaged scholarship that places an emphasis on explicitly anti-racist pedagogies, and/or social justice practices, and production in teaching, research, service, and scholarship that work to advance societal wellbeing, reconciliation, and repair.
