The purpose of this class is to provide academic, mentoring and support services to participants in the TRIO Programs.
 

Bachelor's degree and one year of successful experience working with collegiate-level programs fostering retention or achievement.  Demonstrated success working with at-risk, underrepresented, minority or disadvantaged students to help them achieve academically. Experience providing instruction, advising, and/or academic support service. 
 

1. Advise students about academic requirements for graduation, transfer and assist with the selection of courses.
2. Oversee the collection of quantitative and qualitative educational data related to program goals and objectives.
3. Coordinate tutoring programs.
4. Maintain a caseload of program participants.
5. Monitor academic and educational progress of program participants.
6. Facilitate and monitor financial literacy training.
7. Maintain student records and files.
8. Conduct workshops and orientation sessions, as required.
