Research Scientist who conceptualizes, designs, implements and directs research projects within the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Health; develops, writes and submits grant proposals of original research as a principal investigator to extramural funding agencies to obtain significant salary and research support from outside funding agencies.
Required Education
Doctoral Degree in an appropriate field
Required Experience
Previous Research Experience.
A typical candidate would have served in a postdoctoral position for at least two full years, have demonstrated productivity and would be competitive for an RO1 grant from the NIH. They should have demonstrated a level of experience and productivity beyond that of a postdoctoral fellow
