Job Summary | The Postdoctoral Research Associate will support research and institutional change efforts led by the Office of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (ODEI) in collaboration with other institutional partners. Responsibilities will include collecting and analyzing data for research studies, disseminating results, and assisting with internal and external annual reports. In addition, the Postdoctoral Research Associate will support ODEI’s efforts toward the self-study of institutional equity. The position is for up to 4 years subject to mutual agreement, performance, and availability of continued funding. |
Minimum Education and Experience | Ph.D in a related field. |
Preferred Education and Experience | Ph.D. in psychology, sociology, learning sciences, engineering education, or related field and a minimum of three years research experience focused on team science or equity in higher education. This experience can include research experience as a graduate student. We are seeking candidates with strong backgrounds in qualitative data collection and analysis, including instrument and protocol development. Additionally, evidence of a solid record of publishing in peer-reviewed journals and/or proceedings commensurate with the candidate’s experience level is desired. Experience that includes mixed-methods studies; institutional, organizational, or programmatic self-studies; intersectionality, team science and/or with multi-team systems is strongly preferred. The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to principles of diversity, equity, and inclusion. We are seeking candidates who can work collaboratively in research teams comprised of individuals of diverse backgrounds, skills, and perspectives. |
