Postdoctoral Fellow

Job Description


We seek an ambitious Postdoctoral Fellow in the Department of Immunology and Microbiology at the University of Colorado School of Medicine to join the Russo Lab to work on an NIH-funded project to investigate the mechanisms by which inflammatory processes regulate intermediate filament function. The Department of Immunology and Microbiology is an ideal environment for research and training of Postdoctoral Fellows. We have access to world-class facilities, including the Advanced Light Microscopy Core Facility, the Genomics Shared Resource, and Organ and Tissue Modeling Shared Resource. We are part of a vibrant immunology and infectious disease community that regularly meets to discuss ongoing research projects. Suitable candidates should have a strong track record, be highly driven and creative, and have a true passion for a research career. The successful candidate will be able to work independently and in a team environment and will join a small group of friendly and supportive scientists in all stages of scientific development.

This is a full-time appointment. Salary is based on NIH postdoctoral stipend level, commensurate with experience.
