The School of Social Work in the College of Health Professions and Sciences (CHPS) at the University of Central Florida (UCF) invites applications for two 12-month, non-tenure-earning instructor positions. The positions will have primary assignments in Field Education in the BSW and MSW programs, including the campus-based and online MSW tracks. The positions will be located at the main Orlando campus. The projected start date is Spring 2023 or Summer 2023.

The School of Social Work is recognized regionally and nationally for the superior quality of its educational offerings and its contributions to clinical social work, health care, scholarship, and service to our community. The school has 34 full-time faculty, 14 staff, adjunct faculty, and over 900 students. We offer a bachelor’s degree in Social Work, a master’s degree in Social Work, and a Social Work track in the interdisciplinary Public Affairs Ph.D. program. There are face-to-face and online tracks in the MSW program.
CHPS is home to three schools, one department, and six centers and institutes and is a leader in creating positive community change by building partnerships that transcend traditional disciplinary boundaries. The college is a core member of the newly formed UCF Academic Health Sciences Center along with the existing Colleges of Nursing and Medicine. As a diverse institution we center access, belonging, and diverse perspectives. We are seeking an individual who can demonstrate effective engagement in an environment where colleagues and students come from many backgrounds and identities, as well as someone who can demonstrate commitment to equitable and inclusive teaching practices.
Master of Social Work (MSW) degree from a CSWE-accredited program.
At least one year of experience with social work field education as a teacher, field instructor, or supervisor.
Two years of post MSW social work practice experience.
Active licensure in Social Work.
Teaching experience across campus-based and online modalities.
