Job Description

The University of New Hampshire’s Peter T. Paul College of Business and Economics invites applications for a full-time Lecturer of Management to begin in fall 2023. The primary teaching responsibilities of this position will be strategic management and international business. An interest in teaching entrepreneurship and/or sustainable business also would be desirable.

This is a nine-month contract position with an initial appointment term of two years, with possible renewal at the discretion of the College. An appointment for a lecturer position includes the full benefits package of the University for non-tenure-track faculty. Lecturers at UNH are represented by the AAUP through a collective bargaining agreement.

The full-time lecturer will teach six courses per academic year, which include multiple course preps. Applicants are expected to meet the College’s standards for being qualified in accordance with AACSB standards by retaining engagement and currency in the management field. Applicants should not only have a commitment to teaching excellence but also a willingness to get involved with various Paul College activities outside the classroom, including serving on faculty committees, attending College meetings, and working with and mentoring students.

The Peter T. Paul College is an AACSB accredited business school in the state of New Hampshire with world-class academic programs in business administration, economics, and hospitality management. We have approximately 2,600 students in our undergraduate majors, several hundred undergraduate minors, and 400 students in graduate programs, including MBA (full-time, part-time, and online), MS Accounting, MS Finance, MS Business Analytics, and MA and Ph.D. in Economics. Paul College faculty and students enjoy a state-of-the-art facility with 115,000 square feet of space and high-tech classrooms, a behavioral research laboratory, and breakout meeting rooms. Acceptable Minimum Qualifications
Minimum qualifications include a relevant advanced degree (MBA, DBA, Ph.D.) and demonstrated success in teaching at the college level. Applicants should be able to demonstrate the ability to meet the appropriate faculty qualifications based on AACSB accreditation standards.The University of New Hampshire is unable to sponsor applicants for employment visas for this position.

Salary Information
Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications and is complemented by a comprehensive benefits package which includes medical, dental, retirement, tuition, and paid time off.
