The Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center at the University of Miami, Miller School of Medicine, is searching for several motivated Postdoctoral Scholars with strong interest in scientific environments with multidisciplinary expertise.

About This Position
These positions are part of a NIH-T32 funded project, The South Florida Cancer Control Training in Disparities and Equity (South Florida C-TIDE). The program provides trainees with the ideal platform for successful careers as scientists, physicians, scientific administrators, and entrepreneurs that will identify novel agents and devises in cancer disparities and equity across the cancer control continuum.

The UM South Florida C-TIDE T32 Program is a two-year full-time program, based on continued funding and work performance, with the primary goal of the program to train the next generation of researchers with exceptional training and the necessary competencies for postdoctoral fellows to develop independent, successful, high impact research and careers in cancer disparities and health equity.

Program Requirements:
1. no previous participation in a T32
2. Ability to devote 100% research effort (75%-100% for MDs)
3. Completed terminal degree within 2 years at time of appointment in Behavioral Sciences, Oncology or other related discipline (PhDs, MDs, MD/PhDs).
4. Skill in collecting, organizing, and analyzing data.
5. Ability to recognize, analyze, and solve a variety of problems and exercise sound judgment in making critical decisions.

Education/Experience Core Requirements:

MD or Ph.D., zero years of experience required.
