Position Summary
F5’s Internship Program offers the unique opportunity to interact 1:1 with executives at Tech Talks focusing on F5, industry, and foundational topics. In addition, you’ll be able to connect with a network of other interns at ongoing social events, mentors within the company, and resources across our Global Marketing and Customer Experience org to help you thrive.
A successful person in this role will be someone with a strong sense of ownership who actively seeks opportunities to be innovative and drive success against marketing objectives. Organizational and communication skills are core requirements. You should have a can-do attitude and the ability to collaborate. Project determination will be made in Spring to provide a specially curated experience with learning opportunities to hone marketing skills and be exposed to the many areas of B2B and SaaS (software as a service) marketing. This position is remote.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Bring the customer to the forefront of projects focusing on user experience, customer stories, consistent messaging, and other solutions.
  • Create a plan and see a project from inception to completion involving necessary stakeholders along the way.
  • Successfully collaborate across teams within Marketing & Customer Experience and key players across the company to solve problems and reach innovative solutions.
  • Share the results and findings of your project with the CMO and Marketing Leadership team.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
  • Responsible for upholding F5’s Business Code of Ethics and for promptly reporting violations of the Code or other company policies.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Ability to take project ownership, make data driven decisions, and to arrive at solutions that resonate with key audiences.
  • Eagerness to lean-in, learn and ask the right questions.
  • Ability to organize a list of open deliverables, issues, gaps, risks.
  • Customer focus, with an analytical and problem-solving mentality.
  • Great written and verbal communication skills necessary to lead, collaborate, and motivate.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Understanding of or experience in a company that delivers hardware + software products is a plus.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Must be a current student enrolled at a four-year institution in the United States working towards BA/BS in Marketing, Communications, Customer Experience or related field.
  • Approaching senior year at the time of their internship (2024 targeted graduation). If intending to pursue additional schooling after current degree (ie. Graduate School), please list estimated graduation date from your final degree on your resume.
  • Available for a 12-week internship between May and September of 2023. We are unable to accommodate internships outside of this time frame.

Recruiting Timeline
  • Applications will remain open until end of January 2023. Please submit applications by January 16th, 2023 for priority consideration.
  • Once your application is selected we have a two step interview process. First, you'll have a 30-minute first round interview. Then, a final round interview that typically consists of 3 additional interviews that take course over a half day. No interviews on weekends available.
  • We expect first round interviews to begin in February 2023 with final round interviews happening in March 2023.
  • Recruiting will continue through March and beyond until this position is filled.
