Headway has openings for qualified mental health therapists on a full-time basis to work with students in the Twin Cities metro area.

Location: Multiple locations available in North Metro. Most positions serve a single school. Full- AND Part-Time opportunities are available!

Make a meaningful impact with future generations by working with a diverse population of students on their mental health goals. Providing therapy in a school setting reduces barriers to mental health services, and our teams support each other in a collaborative environment where different perspectives are valued!

Job Overview:

  • Assess, plan, implement and evaluate the mental health services for clients
  • Conduct Diagnostic Assessments and develop related treatment plans
  • Provide ongoing therapy with students
  • Update parents toward treatment plan goals
  • Maintain ongoing and timely documentation of services

Key expectations include developing effective therapeutic relationships with clients, providing individual therapy, conducting diagnostic assessments, and completing individualized treatment planning and interventions. An ideal candidate has cultural competency, will use evidence-based practices, will grow in a collaborative environment, and will reflect the integrity of our strengths-based perspective.

Job Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Mental Health field
  • Must be working towards or have one of the following: LPCC, LP, LMFT, LICSW
  • Experience working with school-aged population
  • Organizational skills to complete documentation
