Position Highlights | The Department of Translational Neurosciences, a leading basic, translational, and preclinical research laboratory to study brain circuitry function and its role in various paradigms of human disease, is looking for a Postdoctoral Research Associate. Projects include pancreatic, adrenal, thyroid, intestinal, and other neuroendocrine cancers. Multidisciplinary techniques include generation of novel animal models, studies with human tumor tissue, and cell-based models, as well as metabolism, mitochondrial dynamics, genetics, gene expression, phosphoproteomics, single cell multiomics, biomarker diagnostics, and drug discovery and testing. Successful candidates will join a multidisciplinary team within the setting of an outstanding new facility with capabilities in imaging, behavioral, bioinformatic, high throughput screening, phosphoproteomics and other advanced approaches. The position is part of well-funded research program and will provide the opportunity to produce high impact publications and establish a record of grant award funding. The candidate will be mentored in career development toward independent research and training to become a principal investigator. Opportunities to expand to other cancer types and other systems will be provided.
