The Maintenance Technician position should have a general knowledge of methods, materials, and procedures used in buildings and equipment maintenance.
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED
One year of verifiable experience in building maintenance
Basic computer literacy, including use of Windows system
One year of verifiable experience in building maintenance
Basic computer literacy, including use of Windows system
Possess a Texas driver’s license and be insurable on Midland College’s policy
Good driving record

Essential Functions
General maintenance duties
Completion of work orders
Repairs, electrical, changing of filters, motors, and belts on AC equipment
Repair doors, locks, equipment, plumbing, painting, and replace light bulbs
All other duties as assigned

Physical Demands
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
