Job Description

Open Postdoc Positions: University of California Davis School of Medicine, Davis, CA

Overview:

Multiple immediate NIH and DOD-funded Postdoctoral Research Associate positions are available in the Singh Laboratory at the University of California, Davis, School of Medicine. The Singh laboratory is interested in protein engineering, antibodies, and chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) based strategies for ovarian and breast cancer models. We use hybridomas, structure-guided protein design, and yeast display screens for the lead antibody discovery. Our laboratory research is fundamental science in terms of biology/signaling based-protein design; however, it holds a true clinical translatable potential for preclinical studies. We also collaborate closely with biochemists, immunologists, veterinary biologists, and clinicians to complement findings in the relevant in vivo models. Some of our recent work can be found here: https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/?term=tushir-singh&sort=date

We are looking for postdoctoral scientists with experience in biochemistry, immunology, cancer cell signaling, or protein biology to support our ongoing activities.

Our lab is a member of the highly interactive and collaborative Medical Microbiology and Immunology group, the UC Davis Comprehensive Cancer Center, and is comprised of an outstanding community of scientists and laboratories across the medical campus. In addition, our laboratory has a strong track record in training postdoctoral fellows to become successful industry leaders.?
