Two postdoc positions are available in the laboratory of Dr. Jie Zheng, in the Department of Chemistry & Biochemistry at The University of Texas at Dallas. Our group’s research focuses on the fundamental understanding of nano-bio interaction via nano materials on both in vivo and in vitro level, further applying the understandings to advance in disease diagnosis and therapy. |
Minimum Education and Experience | Ph.D in a related field. |
Preferred Education and Experience | 1. Candidate must hold a Ph.D. degree. (biochemist, chemist or analytical chemist is preferred) 2. Animal experience 3. Imaging experience 4. Cell study experience 5. Drug deliver and nano materials will be a plus |
Essential Duties and Responsibilities | Plan, conduct and direct a wide variety of experiments. Responsible for the evaluation and interpretation of research data. Conduct experiments using advanced equipment and applying complex techniques, methods and procedures; plan and execute the details of experiments according to research protocol. |
