Job Description Summary

Summary: The Assistant Director, Marketing Operations provides executional and logistical support for all Enrollment Management Marketing initiatives designed to increase graduate business program enrollment. This position will be responsible for managing the tactical elements of marketing campaigns and associated materials, as well as managing the operational components of tracking tools to monitor and measure marketing effectiveness.

 
Job Description
Essential Functions:
  • Partners with EM Operations, EM Recruiting, and other stakeholders to manage all logistics necessary for the delivery of the School’s various Enrollment Management Marketing efforts. Ensures configuration and normal operation of systems and processes necessary to deliver messaging and content across web, print, e-mail, and other channels. Acts as central resource for all operational details related to marketing project planning, execution, and analysis.
  • Coordinates internal resources and third-party vendors for the flawless execution of marketing projects. Ensures that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget.
  • Creates and maintains comprehensive project calendar. Manages the project timeline by identifying project dependencies and critical paths.
  • Tracks project performance using appropriate KPIs, metrics, tools, and techniques.
  • Provides project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about strategy, progress, and adjustments.
  • Assists in analyzing enrollment data, marketing metrics, industry reports, and other data sources to uncover insights and trends used to evolve enrollment management best practices, inform program recruitment and retention plans, and identify and respond to challenges in meeting enrollment goals.
  • Develops a high-level of proficiency with contact management, communications, and applications systems. Assists as staff resource for questions/training and serves as backup for critical EM Operations roles.

Required Education, Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies, including staff, faculty, students, alumni, and third-party vendors.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills. Ability to manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to take direction and work independently in a changing environment.
  • Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work occasional evenings or weekends during select events and peak times.
 
Preferred Education, Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
  • Up to three years of experience in project management, marketing, or higher education.
  • Comfortable with data and working in database systems.
  • Experience with CRM systems like Technolutions Slate to create communications, process mailings, queries, and reports.
  • Ability to recommend and implement changes to program operating policies and procedures to enhance program effectiveness and efficiency.
